Marcosa is a 56-year-old married woman from Cortes, Bohol, Philippines. She has five children. She has engaged in a basket weaving business for 30 years now and earns 2,000 PHP per month. This is the source of her income and covers the needs of her family.
Marcosa is requesting a loan to buy buri (native palm), wicker, nito vine and bamboo. These are the materials used in making baskets. Through the help of this loan, she will be able to buy the materials needed in making baskets. In the future, Marcosa hopes to expand her business to earn more profits.
