Mwanakombo is a 29-year-old married woman and lives in her own home in Msambweni. For the last one year, she has been rearing chicken in her home. She describes herself as a very hard-working and entrepreneurial person who always works hard to improve every day. Mwanakombo is requesting for a loan in the amount of Ksh 10,000 to purchase chicks and chicken feeds (concentrates). She plans to expand her poultry house and keep more chickens.
Her dream is to have a more prosperous life.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
