Magdaline, 42, is from Kisauni. She is the mother of seven children and she is a merchant by occupation. She sells clothes at the market. She hopes to grow her business and improve her profits to have more income and be able to invest more in her business.
Magdaline is asking for loan that will allow her to buy a bundle of clothes for resale. She feels that this loan will be of great use to her because her sales will increase, generating higher profits that she will reinvest in her business and use to do home improvements. Her future plan is to expand her business and she hopes that it will generate higher income so that she and her family can get ahead.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
