John is a married man, aged 67, and supports eight of his children, aged between 35 and five years old. He slaughters livestock and sells the meat in his butchery which has been in operation for a period of 20 years, earning him an income of KES 30,000.
John has joined a self-help group through Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET) and he is now servicing his first loan of KES 30,000. He wishes to use this amount to purchase livestock for slaughter.
The profits he gets will be used to construct a permanent house for his family. His dream is prosper in business and have a happy family.
