Saumu, 36, is married and living with her husband and two children in the suburban area of Kisauni. She’s very enterprising and two years ago started her own business venture. She sells charcoal from her home where she has a small store.
She says that her business is doing well and she hopes that this loan will be of great help to her. The loan is for 20,000 KES, which she’ll use to buy more sacks of charcoal to sell. Her plan is for the business to grow and to be able to contribute to the family income.
