Menuri, 38, is single, living with her five children in a village belonging to the town of Tiribe, Kenya. She’s very enterprising and five years ago started her own business venture. She sells coconuts from her home. She’s been in three Yehu loan cycles to stay in business. The current loan is for 50,000 KES and she’ll use it to buy a stock of coconuts and cover transport. Her plan is that the business grows and to be able to contribute the family income.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
