Amijete, who is 40, lives in the southern part of Kosovo. She is the married mother of two daughters who are aged 15 and 8. Both her daughters attend school. Her husband is a construction worker who earns a very low salary. To earn a living, Amijete operates a tailoring business from her home. She had been a tailor working for a private company for a long time until more than three years ago when she stared to work independently from her home. Amijete makes tablecloths, curtain skirts and traditional costumes. She has been sustaining her business through her own efforts. She is very professional and she has many requirements from her female customers.
Amijete is requesting a loan to buy a new sewing machine, thread and other materials needed for her work. She hopes to earn a higher income and to expand her business in the future. Amijete's goal is to improve the living conditions of her family and to save money to use towards her children's education. Amijete appreciates this support!
