María Gilma es una madre soltera, cuenta con dos hijos bajo su cargo, ambos estudian, uno en la universidad y el otro en la primaria, a duras penas ella mantiene la alimentación de estos pequeños y los gastos universitario de su hija, pero también ve de gran necesidad de sus hijos poderle comprar una computadora para mejorar la enseñanza que tanto necesitan.
