Madine is 56 years old, married and the mother of seven. She lives with her husband and children in the Missira district of Ségou.
Having left school early, she quickly started earning a living, in particular selling food condiments. Her high sales volume is due to her thorough knowledge of this business sector. She has a large number of customers, mostly women. With the goal of bolstering her working capital in order to stock up in large quantities and reduce delivery charges, she has turned to Soro Yiriwaso, and is on her first individual loan. She plans to use this loan to by 428 kg [about 944 lbs] of “fakoye” (a very popular condiment in Mali, especially in the North). She stocks up locally.

Madine sells for cash and on credit to a customer base composed of both men and women. She anticipates to earn a monthly income of 25,000 West African francs, which will allow her to stabilize her business.

Ayant vite abandonnée les études, elle commença très tôt les activités génératrices de revenus notamment l’achat vente de condiments alimentaires. Sa force de vente est due à sa maitrise du rouage du secteur d’activité. Elle jouit d’une grande clientèle composée de femmes majoritairement.
Dans le but d’augmenter son fonds de commerce pour acheter en grande quantité dans le souci de réduire les charges de livraison, elle a fait recours à Soro Yiriwaso, elle est à son 1er prêt individuel.
Elle compte utiliser ce prêt pour acheter 428 kilos de fakoye (condiments très prisés au Mali surtout au Nord), elle s’approvisionne sur place.
Madine vend au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes. Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel 25 000 FCFA, ce dernier lui permet de pérenniser son commerce.
