Reuwel is a 68-year-old man, widowed and blessed with two children. He runs a shop in Kariobangi in south Nairobi and he has been in this business for the last five years. He gets an income of about KES 40,000 per month.
He has a good credit history with KADET LTD where he is applying for his sixth loan of KES 100,000, with which he plans to buy stock of cooking oil, sugar, salt, flour and many others.
He will use the anticipated profit to pay the loan and his own expenses. He hopes to go higher from a shop to a supermarket.
