Maira tiene 28 años de edad, es soltera, vive junto a su mamá, un hermano y su hija de cuatro años. Tiene dos años de dedicarse a la compra y venta de ganado, quien le enseño este oficio fue su hermano quien lo aprendió de su padre.

Los animales los compra, en la comunidad y los engorda por un periodo entre dos y seis meses, luego los lleva al tiangue para venderlos que esta ubicado a veinticinco kilómetros de su casa.

El préstamo que esta solicitando a Fundación Campo, es para comprar tres terneras y dos terneros. Los cuales espera vender más adelante a buen precio; para brindarle mejor salud, vestuario, alimentación a su hija y a su madre.
