Issa exerce les activités commerciales depuis plus de 10 ans. Sa boutique est située au centre commerciale de Koutiala. Cette activité lui procure assez de revenus, car sa demande est de plus en plus grande et il reçoit beaucoup de clients par jour. Pour la bonne satisfaction de sa clientèle et l’agrandissement de son activité, Issa a fait recours à l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso pour l’atteinte de ses objectifs. Il est à son 4ème prêt individuel. Ce prêt sera utilisé pour l’acquisition d’un grand stock d’articles en plastique constitué de carafes, de seaux, de baignoires, de pots et d’assiettes. Il s’approvisionne à Bamako et auprès des grossistes de Koutiala. Avec l’agrandissement de son activité, Issa compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 90.000 FCFA, qu’il utilisera pour le remboursement des intérêts de Soro, satisfaire aux besoins de sa famille et investir le reste dans son activité.
