Lucy is a woman of 43 years and a mother of two children. She lives in Zambezi, on the outskirts of Limuru. She operates a food stall in the same area and has been in this business for two years now. Lucy gets a monthly income of KES 32,000.
This will be Lucy's first loan from Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET). She plans to use the entire loan to buy cereals, like beans, maize, sugar, and flour. In the future, she wants to open a restaurant in the same area.
