Issa is a 28-year-old, single man. He lives with his family in Beddya Village, near Nablus.
For the past three years, Issa has been driving a taxi, which has been a profitable business and the only source of income for him. He has a lot of loyal clients and, because he is a very ambitious man and has a good reputation among his clients, he is looking, in the future, to open a taxi office of his own.
Issa is requesting a USD 2,000 loan from Palestine for Credit & Development (FATEN) to cover the costs of insuring and licensing the taxi he drives. This will enable Issa to move easily and freely from one area to another, which will help to increase his income and improve his living conditions. Issa is photographed inside his taxi.
