Eliza lives in the Telavi district of East Georgia. She is 24 years old and lives with her husband and two children. She runs an agricultural business. In particular, she has a vineyard and a plot of land where different kinds of vegetables are grown. Eliza’s husband takes wood from the forest and sells it in the village. The couple works hard to make some savings and improve their living conditions for their children.
With the requested loan Eliza will purchase a car, and her husband will use it to take more wood from the forest and sell it in their local village, as well as in nearby villages. This will increase the family income during the winter season. The increased profit will be reinvested in the family's agricultural activities, and all members of the family will improve their living conditions.
