Diem, 39 years old, is married and has one daughter. Her husband is a worker in a nearby company. Diem supports her family with the income she earns from a business selling girdle cakes. She began this business three years ago. She lives in Ho Chi Minh City.
Diem intends to take out a loan to buy a greater quantity and higher quality of ingredients to make her cakes. She hopes that this will better meet her customers' demands and will enable her to increase her sales. She hopes her business will run smoothly and will help her to improve her living conditions.
