Ella se dedica a la crianza y a la venta de carne de cerdo en el mercado de su comunidad. Esta actividad lo empezó a realizar cuando estudiaba su carrera académica porque ella necesitaba de ingresos económicos para poder mantener y terminar esta carrera ahora gracias a eso ella logro uno de sus objetivos en la vida.
Ella tiene ahora 5 años de emprender este negocio y ha visto los buenos resultados en la generación de ganancias para su familia.
De este modo ella ve la necesidad de invertir más capital en su negocio solicitando un préstamo de Q 7,000.00 para comprar más cerdos y poder criarlos para luego poder comercializar la carne en el mercado local obteniendo mejores resultados en sus ganancias.

ADICLA's youth entrepreneurship loans allow young people without prior credit histories to borrow in groups, an opportunity that is not offered by many other microfinance institutions in Guatemala. The loans will be used to help them start small businesses.


ADICLA (Association for the Holistic Development of the Basin of Lake Atitlán) is nonprofit rural community development association that provides small loans and services to improve quality of life in two of the poorest regions of Guatemala, home to large indigenous populations. Kiva funding will be used to support three innovative credit initiatives: youth business loans, green loans, and smaller loans to help ADICLA move down-market and serve poorer clients.
