Warlito, a 32-year old, is a married man of Upper Pulacan, Labangan who has 2 children and is earning from his private transport service business. It started almost 3 years ago and he earns 8,000 a month. To improve business, he would like to borrow 50,000 PHP from GDMPC micro credit, which he just joined recently, in order to obtain accessories and tires. Before long, he’s hopeful of the possibility of expanding his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
