Priscillah is a 33-year-old woman from Mbale in the Western part of Kenya. She is married to Apollo and they have been blessed with three children, aged six, nine and 12 years old respectively.
She owns a timber and firewood yard and has been in this business for three years. Her monthly income is 14,000 KES. She will use the loan to buy more stock of timber and firewood to sell.
Her dream is to own a number of timber yards within the region. This will help her pay for her children's school fees and also employ more people, thereby creating opportunity in the community where she lives.
