George is 33 years old. He lives in the village of Kukhi with his family-his wife, two children and his mother. The eldest daughter goes to secondary school. The main source of income for George’s family comes from agricultural activities. They own a milk cow and produce cheese to sell in their village. The family also owns an agricultural plot with an area of two hectares where maize is grown. Most of the harvested products are sold locally. George also owns a tractor and works on canalization. With the requested loan, George plans to purchase another tractor. He will use it to till his own plot which will reduce his cost for tilling. He will also use the tractor on neighbors’ plots and get additional income. George plans to reinvest the profits in agriculture as well as improve the living conditions of the family.
