Fabiano is a fify-nine-year-old married man with 12 children living in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He has been in the cocoa business for 16 years and his main clients are middlemen from town and sometimes he supplies to the factory directly. He has a dream of paying school fees for his children and venturing into other cash crops like coffee, despite challenges of price fluctuations.
Fabiano intends to use the loan to pay workers who are helping him to harvest cocoa to sell.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
