Grace, 38, is a married mother living with her three children in the town of Msambweni.
For the last two years, Grace has been selling petrol from a small store in her home. She narrates that it has been a profitable project which has given her good results. Her main customers are motorists who have a motorcycle taxi business.
Grace is asking for a loan in the amount of 25,000 Kenyan shillings to buy gallons of petrol to sell. Her main goal is to continue working to see her children become professionals.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
