For the past 3 years, Rosela has been selling baked snack food in her local community for her living. Rosela is 45 years old and married with three children. She is from Sepac, Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental. She earns 10,000 PHP a month from her work and joined GDMPC in 2010. Rosela is requesting a 30,000 PHP loan to purchase the raw ingredients she needs to make products to sell. She plans to use the income generated from her loan to expand her business and save for her future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
