Hai was born in 1956. She has four children who are adult and have gotten married. Her husband is dead. She is earns a living as a farmer. She earns about 3,000,000 VND per month. She has done this job for 36 years. Her family’s total income is 5,000,000 VND per month.
She has participated in SEDA’s microfinance program since 2003. In the last loan cycle, she borrowed 9,810,000 VND and repaid on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 11,118,000 to build some more chicken coops to raise more chickens. She wants to save the profits for her retirement.
