Jhonn
Jhonn’s single and has no children. He lives in a one-room, rented house with brick walls and wood flooring located in the city of La Paz’s Sopocachi zone. Jhonn completed mid-technical school level and is currently employed as a logistics manager for a travel agency; he works more than 8 hours daily and this is his only source of income. He needs the loan to buy tourism equipment (backpacks and mountain climbing equipment, etc.) to use in his job to generate more income by renting out said equipment. Jhonn’s dream is to grow professionally and also to earn good income in order to improve his quality of life.

Jhonn es soltero y no tiene hijos, vive en una casa alquilada en un acabado de ladrillo y piso de machihembre, ocupando una habitación, la casa se encuentra ubicada en la zona Sopocachi de la ciudad de La Paz.

Jhonn estudio hasta Técnico medio, es empleado y actualmente trabaja como encargado de Logística en una agencia de viajes por más de ocho horas al día ya que es su única fuente de ingresos.

El crédito lo requiere para comprar material de equipo de turismo (mochilas, instrumentos de ascenso a las montañas, etc.), y utilizarlo en su trabajo y ganar más dinero por el alquiler de dicho material.
El sueño de Jhonn es crecer como profesional además tener buenos ingresos para mejorar su calidad de vida.

Es la segunda vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO y la primera con KIVA.

About IMPRO

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
