Tamar is 56 years old and married. She lives in the small village of Gurjaani district, East Georgia. The family runs an agricultural business. They have four pigs and sell meat locally in an open market. They also have three hectares of agricultural land, where sunflowers are grown.
Tamar has a grocery store in her village. She is requesting a loan, which she will use to purchase stock for the shop. With the additional stock, her sales will increase as will the income of the family, which enable them to improve their living conditions.
