Sam-Un
Mrs. Sam-un E. and her husband, Mr. Dara Los, who live along the Tonle Basac River, a tributary of the nearby Mekong, about fifteen kilometers from Phnom Penh, were married in 1989 and have four children, two sons and two daughters. One of their children is married and lives in the family home. Of the other three children, two are in school and one is a garment worker.

Mrs. Sam-un and her husband have been selling fish for many years. They buy fish from the village market to sell at Takmao market, traveling by motorcycle. Now their motorcycle is very old and they are short some money to buy a new motorcycle to replace the old one, so Sam-un is requesting a loan in the amount of US$ 900 to purchase a new motorcycle to transport their fish to market.
