Tamara is 62 years old, married, and has one child. She is from the village of Salkhino and lives with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchild. Tamara and her husband are provided with a retirement pension. Her husband works as a builder locally and her son is a soldier.
The family is involved in the animal husbandry business and has six calves and four milk cows, whose milk is used in cheese products sold at the local open market. In addition, Tamara grows maize on the family-owned land. She does all relevant agricultural work to ensure a good harvest. The family has two pigs and sells on average 12 piglets per year. The family also owns a grain mill and serves the local farmers.
Tamara is requesting a loan, which she will use to purchase two milking cows. She will be able to produce and sell more cheese. Tamara wants to expand her business in order to earn a good profit. With increased profits, she will be able to reinvest in her agricultural business, as well as spend more on the family’s daily needs and the living conditions for the family will be improved. She is a very hardworking person with a rich experience in her work.
