Trai was born in 1975. She has two children: her daughter is a worker and her son is learning in the 10th grade. Her husband and she are building workers to earn a living. They have done this job for 10 years. She gets 3,000,000 VND a month from it. Her family’s total earnings are about 7,000,000 VND per month.
She has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2011. In the last cycle, she borrowed 5,600,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 6,944,000 VND to buy construction tools. Her dream is to be able to let her children have good careers and save more money for her family.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
