Benita previously sold tortillas, but seven years ago she started selling clothes. She sells shirts, trousers, and socks. In addition, she sells shoes upon request. Benita operates her business out of her home and has an established clientele.
The loan she is requesting is in the amount of 4,500 HNL and will be invested in the purchase of clothing, such as shirts and trousers, so that she can maintain the inventory of her business. Her objective is to grow her business and increase the number of customers. She also has a goal of opening a vending stall at the market in the community nearby so that she can leave an inheritance for her children in the future. Benita is very grateful to ODEF and Kiva for trusting her.
