Sonia Isabel
Sonia, 45, lives in Las Orquídeas. She lives in a common-law marriage and has two underage children. Sonia decided to look for a job in order to continue helping her children with their studies. Seeing that nobody wanted to employ her in a company, she decided to gather some money and open a business making “waipe” (fabric scraps made of cotton that are sold to hardware stores, normally used as rags to paint and clean. They are very similar to baby diapers, are sold by the kilo, and are very economical).

Her business has grown step by step to reach a customer base big enough. Sonia works during the weekend, starting in the morning. With this loan she will buy waipe and thread. Her goal is to continue working and to make some home improvements.
