Givi is a 68-year-old farmer from the village Sakulia in Tskaltubo District. He lives with his wife Eter and their 25-year-old son. Givi and Eter are provided with retirement pension. The family makes a living working in agriculture. In particular, they have a dairy farm with eight cows. They produce cheese and sell it at the local open market.
Givi doesn’t own a car, so he has to rent one for transportation of their products. Renting the car is quite expensive and not cost-efficient. With the requested credit Givi will purchase a car. Not having to rent a car will decrease his transportation expenses, thus his profit margin will grow. With the increased income, the family's living conditions will improve.
