Adjoa is a fishmonger who sells smoked and fried fish in Bremawg near Abura. Adjoa has received no formal education. She is married and has four children. Her husband is a farmer in the area. Adjoa has been selling prepared fish for sometime now. She is responsible for paying to support her husband and paying her children’s school fees. Her loan will be used to buy more fish, to fry or smoke, to sell in the market. She hopes to use the new profits from her business to expand her fish selling trade and meet the local demand.
