José Silverio
José is 37 years old, married, and has three children. He and his current wife have a two-year-old daughter. Since the age of 13, José has been raising livestock. His grandmother was the person responsible for teaching him this line of work. In order to buy animals, he must travel to El Tiangue, which is approximately 20 kilometers from his house.

José is requesting a loan from Fundación Campo so that he can buy four small oxen to raise. After he purchases the animals, he intends to take advantage of the residuals from his corn crop to feed the oxen. He will sell the animals later so that he can earn a profit. With these earnings, he wants to buy more oxen. José greatly enjoys working with animals.
