Samir started working when he was 13 years old to cover his educational expenses and make his dream come true to finish his university education. He really made this come true when he graduated as a nurse. He kept on working repairing cars to fulfill his family's needs and stopped working as a nurse because he had to expand his own business.
Samir is requesting a loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua in order to do necessary maintenance on his shop. He is aiming to grow his business and increase his profits so he will be able to provide his family with better living conditions.
