They live in the Jadan parish of Cuenca, a place surrounded by natural beauty and beautiful landscapes. Its people work in artisanal crafts, making rope. They also work in farming and raise animals.

One of the members of this group is Ana. She has been a member of the Las del Rio communal bank for two years and a half. During that time, se has been able to establish friendships with all of the members.

Ana is 32 years old. She is married and has two children, aged 17 and 11. Her oldest daughter stays at home and helps with the household work, and her younger son goes to school. Her husband works as a bricklayer. They own the house they live in.

She raises animals such as: sheep, pigs, chickens and guinea pigs, She also has a greenhouse where she grows tomatoes to sell. She also farms and what she harvests is for household consumption.

She will invest the money from the loan in buying construction materials to make some improvements on her greenhouse.

El banco comunal Las del Rio está formado por 6 mujeres emprendedoras que luchan día a día para sacar adelante a sus familias y mejorar su estabilidad económica, vive por la parroquia de Jadan en Cuenca, lugar se encuentra rodeado por exuberante naturaleza y hermosos paisajes, su gente se dedica la artesanía ya que elaboran sogas, también se dedican a la agricultura y crianza de animales.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Ana, conforma el banco comunal Las del Rio hace dos años y medio, tiempo en el que ha logrado afianzar sus lasos de amistad con todas las socias.

La Señora Ana tiene 32 años de edad, está casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 2 hijos de 17 y 11 años, su primera hija pasa en casa ayudando con los quehaceres del hogar, su segundo hijo estudia en el colegio. Su esposo labora como albañil, la casa en la que vive es su propia.

Ella la crianza de animales como: borregos, cerdos, gallinas y cuyes, tiene un invernadero en donde cultiva tomates para la venta, también se dedica a la agricultura y lo que cosecha es para el consumo de su hogar.

El dinero de su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de materiales de construcción para mejorar su invernadero.

Su sueño es que sus hijos lleguen a ser buenos profesionales.
