A loan of $225 helped to buy television sets, game software, memory sticks, plastic chairs, etc.

Yelsin Del Carmen's story

Yelsin is a young, humble, 24-year-old woman from Granada. She’s the mother of two children aged 3 and 5; one of them attends school. She started in commerce when still very young selling lottery tickets from place to place to earn a living and to have extra income. She now decided to provide Nintendo PlayStation service to her community and has been doing so for 18 months with help from an aunt who gave it to her. She feels satisfied with her business because it’s very profitable; she has regular customers that generate daily income.

Yelsin feels the need to invest in her business to meet customer demand which is why she’s now requesting a loan to buy television sets, game discs, memory sticks, plastic chairs, etc. She believes that the loan will be of great use to her because she’ll be able to buy equipment she still does not have and provide better customer service. Her future plan is to expand the locale to keep her business stable with new equipment.
