Jamurah
Jamurah is 38 years old and lives in the town of Kayunga in the Mukono region of Uganda. She is married and has 4 children who are all currently in school. For the past 4 years, Jamurah has been working hard to manage her small boutique, which sells clothes.

To help expand her business, Jamurah has requested a loan of 2000000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more clothes for resale, and will help Jamurah to generate greater profits, improve the business, and her family standards of living. Jamurah hopes that in the future she will be able to sell the best clothes in town.

Jamurah is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Jamurah who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
