Ghulam's Group

Ghulam is a 19-year-old woman. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan with her husband. Her husband rents out chairs, tables, flowers, lights, and other decoration items for different occasions like: wedding ceremonies, birthday parties, and meetings. They have no children. Ghulam is a very hard-working and independent woman. She helps her husband in the business.

Ghulam, as a member of five-person lending group (Ghulam's Group), has requested a loan from Kiva partner BRAC Pakistan. With the loan amount, she will be purchasing some more chairs, tents, flowers, etc. for her husband's decoration business.

Since she is living in a rented house with her family, she dreams to build her own house. She also desires to increase her business. Ghulam and her husband are very much thankful to both BRAC Pakistan and Kiva.
