Tessie is from Tabo-o, Jimenez. She is 36 years old, married, and has 2 children. To make a living, she makes and sells food. She has been in her food vending business for 3 years and earns about 4,000 PHP a month for these activities. In 2011, she joined GDMPC. Tessie is requesting a new loan of 10,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase the ingredients needed to make food to sell. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement her family's income.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
