Chinda is 33 years old. She is married and resides with one child in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than seven years, earning approximately $5 each day. Her husband, who is joining her in the picture, is a sewing machine repairer who makes an income of about $7 daily.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Chinda requests a loan of $1,000 to purchase rice to store in a warehouse and resell when the price is higher. By doing so, she would generate more income to financially support the family. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and send her child to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
