Saran is 51 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Kandal Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in growing rice and other agricultural crops for more than ten years, earning approximately $7 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. One of her children is a garment worker.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Saran is requesting a loan of $1,300 to purchase fertilizer to use for radish cultivation. This purchase will help her radishes grow well and provide high yield. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her youngest child earn a higher education. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
