San Juan Masias Group
In this Group: Mery Soledad, Yanderith Singler, Rommell Augusto Antoni, Delma Luz, Delia Gloria
Delia is a member of the San Juan Masías group which has five members, all of whom know each other. She is 39 years old, separated from her husband, and has three children.

Delia earns her living selling fruit in the streets of the nearby market. Her business does well as the other stallholders buy fresh fruit from her every day. Thanks to her work, Delia is able to support her children and above all pay for their education and daily needs.

Her biggest wish is to be able to buy a stall inside the market as then she wouldn’t have to pay to rent one where there is no security. She is very grateful for the loan from EDAPROSPO as it will enable her to buy fruit at wholesale prices. She will earn more money as a result and can continue saving for whatever she needs. Delia thanks you for you help!

She is the one wearing the purple top.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
