This is Everlyne, 31, a resident of Voi, Kenya. She is married to Darmian, an employee, and is a mother of three children. Together with her husband, Everlyne manages their household while operating a business. She is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.
She operates a variety store. She has been in this business for the last three years. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community.
To help her continue operating her business, she is requesting a 50,000 KES loan. She will use the loan to buy groceries, toiletries and beverages to expand her product inventory. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.
Everlyne hopes to have a car and dreams of expanding her business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
