Teofila Marina
Teofila is a 48-year-old woman, but with the charisma and happiness of a 20-year-old. Her home is located in the city of Nazca, in the province of Vista Alegre, known for mining and agriculture. Teofila's very hardworking and learned to earn a living with the sweat of her brow at a very young age because she helped her parents with the household expenses. Because of her limited economic resources she only was able to study to the fifth year of secondary school, but she would like to have studied in the university.

Every day Teofila works in her small business selling groceries, soda, and beer in a space she has set up in her modest home. She works around nine hours a day and can serve up to 15 customers a day. She believes it's going well for her in her business because she's friendly and respectful with the customers and especially because she very much wants to improve every day.

Teofila's very grateful for the support from the Kiva lenders because thanks to their help she'll be able to buy merchandise for her business such as soda wholesale and beer.

This way her business will have what it needs to continue growing and she'll be able to improve her income. She'll continue striving every day to be able to make her biggest dream come true: "To have her own house."

Teofila e suna mujer de 48 años de edad, pero con un carisma y alegria de una joven de 20. Su vivienda se ubica en la ciudad de Nazca, en la provincia de vista alegre, la cual se caracteriza por desarrollarse la mineria y la agricultura. Teofila es muy trabajadora y desde muy joven aprendio a ganars eel pan con el sudor de la frente ya que apoyaba a sus padres con los gastos del hogar. Debido a sus pocos recursos economicos ella solo pudo estudiar hasta el quinto grado de secundaria, pero le hubiera gustado tener uan carrera universitaria.

Día a día Teofila trabaja en su pequeño negocio de venta de abarrotes, bebidas gaseosas y cervezas en un espacio que ella ha habilitado en su humilde vivienda, ella trabaja alrededor de 9 horas al dia y puede atender hasta 15 clientes diariamente; ella cree que le va bien en su negocio porque es amable y respetuosa con los clientes y sobre todo porque tiene muchas ganas de mejorar cada dia.

Teofila esta muy agradecida con el apoyo que le han brindado los prestatarios Kiva ya que gracias a la aydua que le han brindado ella podra comprar mercaderia para su engocio como gaseosas al por mayor y cervezas, de esta mabera su negocio tendra lo necesario para seguiir creciendo y podra mejorar sus ingresos; asi ella seguira luchando cada dia para poder hacer realidad su mas grande sueño:" Tener su casa propia".
