Emprendiendo Hacia El Éxito Group
Señorita Susan is one of the members. She is 24 years old, single, and more than anything else, very hardworking. She runs a hardware store which provides the majority of her income. However, she is also a teacher at a school near to her house.
The current loan will be used to buy stock for her hardware business so she is able to offer a wide range of merchandise to all her customers.
Along with the other group members, Susan wishes to thank those people in Kiva and EDAPROSPO who provide help for her group.
In the photograph Susan is first on the right wearing a black jacket.
La Srta. Susan viste una casaca de color negra y es la primera en la parte de la derecha de la foto.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
