Esther is a 40-year-old single woman with a child aged ten who is in school. She is a high school graduate and lives with her child in Margibi County, an area known for rubber plantations. For three years now, she has been involved in the sales of fashion clothes. She has many customers as her business is in a very good location in the market. She started her business with a loan from her child's father, and learned this way of selling from her friends. Esther spends eight hours per day on her business as the location of her shop is not close to her house. One problem she faces is that her shop is too small for her stock. She is requesting a loan to buy fashion clothes (blouses, jeans, trousers, dresses) and expand the size of her shop. She plans to expand her business even more and to educate her child.
