Fatuma, 39, lives with her husband and their four children in a house they own. She has been selling food for six months now, which has helped her to become well-known and earn clients over time. Her sales are very stable and she wishes to improve them significantly. Fatuma has requested a loan from Yehu, Kiva's field partner, for money to purchase staple grains, meat, flour, sugar, and vegetables. This will help her increase the quantity and variety of food she can offer. In this way, Fatuma can give better service to her customers, who will be very satisfied and will give positive feedback about her business, thus gaining new clients, which will be even more beneficial for her.
