Mwajumbe has a partner who works as a businessman and two children in school. She lives in the town of Msambweni, in a place that has a high potential for tourism because of the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean.
She's a merchant who makes a living with an eatery and selling snacks. Her business is in the market where she serves a good number of people who come to this shopping center.
She'll use the loan to buy rice, sugar, beans, oil, and various vegetables. Her goal is to give her customers better service.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
