Anita vive con sus dos hijos en la ciudad de Ibarra que se encuentra en la Provincia de Imbabura, Anita como una forma de salir adelante y buscar un bienestar para su familia emprendió el trabajo de realizar y vender tamales y humitas, productos comestibles a base de maíz y de harina. Anita trabaja en este negocio por tres años por iniciativa propia, le va muy bien gracias a su carisma y buenos productos, las ganancias que obtiene de este negocio utilizan en los gastos de su hogar y cubrir las necesidades de sus hijos.
Actualmente Anita solicitó un crédito a FODEMI con el cual invertirá en la compra de una cocina industrial, una tamalera y en insumos como maíz tierno y harina para la realización de tamales y humitas para la venta, ya que la demanda de sus productos es cada día mayor.
Anita sueña en mejorar la calidad de vida de sus hijos dándoles buenos estudios, también sueña en tener su propia casa. Es por ello que Anita sigue trabajando día a día para lograr cumplir su sueño y agradece a DIOS por darle la fuerza y la motivación para salir a delante.
